Brake Squeal

Hey everyone, recently upgraded all 4 rotors to DBA4000 slotted. Purchased all new standard brembo brake pads. Since installation about 2months ago pads have been squealling constantly regardless of how long I have been driving, hot or cold start, rain or shine. The pads have certainly been bedded in so im not sure why this is an ongoing problem. Took it back to my mechanic who put anti-squeal on all for rotors and pads but problem still persists. It is rather embarressing since it attracts unwanted attention and makes my car sound old and unkept.

Anyone else have this problem?

Any ideas on what I can do to fix it??

I have warranty on pads so im considering returning them...maybe it is a bad batch (my mechanic said that it is sometimes luck of the draw, you can buy brembos again in furture same pads and they will make no noise at all!)

Get a 4 wheel disc machine, whilst the pads are out scratch them up on concrete. Also get the handbrake adjusted correctly, loosen the cable, set it at the drums then tighten the cable until its about 3-6 clicks on the lever. It's about 2-2.5 hours work but should fix any and all squeals or groaning noises in the braking system.

Thanks dropz, im planning to get some mods done at MSR possibly in the new year...ill ask michael if he is willing to do this while he has the car.

Try castrol high temp bearing grease as anti squeal or brembo branded anti squeal paste or like you said take them back and get another set and hope they are from a different batch to your current pads.

My JDM STI pads squealed like a pig and the brembo paste rid 98% squeal
