Enkei wheels-GROUP BUY??(Prices added)

Hi,
Been looking at a set of HKS Hipermax coilovers (used) and also at a set of Enkei GTC01 (18x8 +48 offset) with tyres. Would this be a good combination?
I haven't heard too much on the ride for the HKS coilovers. I don't know the spring rates for the coilovers as they are used. Any feedback would be good.

P.S once I get a price for the rims and tyres I'll see if they do a cheaper price with a group buy if anyone is interested. (Yes the wheels and tyres are from the USA). Unfortunately for me the wheels are black but have asked if they have silver.

HKS Hipermax (LS I presume?) coilovers are meant to be reasonable, but they have a tendency of knocking from the pillow mount from what I've read.

I also happen to love the Enkei GTC-01, so that gets my tick of approval too

Will have to do more research on coilovers as the HKS Hipermax LS+ are discontinued (so I've read).Called some suspension places and they don't rebuild them. One place said they could but would require HKS replacement parts for them. If parts aren't available then I'm stuck with busted ass coilovers. Looking at Megan Racing or BC coilovers. Are these made by the same company?

Wheels only come in hyper black. I think silver would look better on a blue Lib. What do you guys think? Opinions?

Here is some info for tyres and shipping for the above rims. If we can get a group buy going he will do a cheaper price:

Yes these will work on that car. We have done a very similar rim with same offset and bolt pattern and fit fine.
225/40/18 is the recommended tire size for that car.

**The above rims only come in Hyper Black
-For the people that might be intersted who have bigger brakes-I don't know if the brakes will fit behind these rims. They are +48 offset.
-I am not too sure about what duties/taxes will be involved with these wheels. Maybe someone else who has imported rims can shed some light??
-As I mentioned before, if someone knows any places in Australia that can do the same deal then I'm all ears!
-I'm not making any money off this group buy (if it goes ahead). Just organising it for the benefit of anyone who would like and can afford a nice set of wheels for a good price. For $2400 with wheels and tyres to your door, it's not too bad.

i fitted these wheels a while ago.They wont clear brembos without a spacer. They felt lighter than the sti rim but didnt get a measurement of the actual weight just held one in each hand. both had excatly the same tyre.I'll contact my mate who i got mine to see what they are worth now and whats available.

Ok cool,thanks for that. I''m pretty keen on these. From what i've looked at locally online, places are charging around $700 per ri m. Just worried about how much i'll be paying in taxes or duties.

Hey guys. I'll keep this open for a few more days. Any chance of having this moved to the Group Buy section for some more exposure? I see a fair few people have looked at this thread already. If anyone is interested let me know. If people are a bit apprehensive of bringing wheels from overseas, then that's understandable.

the rims come in 3 colours.. silver, hyper silver or whatever(mine) and ass you mentioned hyper black.

I agree mate! Just received them today! I ended up getting the hyper black as the silver wasn't available but will still look good. Looking at coilovers now but I have my mind made up on the KW Variant 2. They look pretty good for the price.

For the money I don't think you can go wrong with the KW's. I know they cost more than BC or HSD etc but there is a reason(s) for it. Trying to escape the tax and duties the same way I did with the wheels (fingers crossed)
