I went with the spring rates recommended for the Liberty by HSD... 6kg front and rear is apparently comfy but firm!? Will let you know tomorrow hopefully!

Ride is great! Firm but comfy is a pretty good description!

I haven't really played around with the settings too much as of yet, just got the height sorted and guards rolled so it drives nice!

I'd highly recommend them!... plenty of adjustment to go firmer or softer from my current setup, and if you want it heaps softer, can always up the height from its current ridiculous level!

Much improved!! The billies were comfy but nowhere near as firm!

There is hardly any body roll with the setup as it is, it just turns!

Hard to describe it really! Needs an alignment and a bit of adjustment to perfect it.. Will be taking it in soon to get this done, then should be the ultimate!

I've been thinking of getting coilovers or springs to lower my car...but every thread I read you guys always mention adjusting them and what not. I know like next to nothing about cars so is this the wrong way to go for a noob?

No not at all, just have some professionals install them for you, as well as adjust the height and you're set. In terms of adjusting the damper and what not, most coilover set ups only have the one knob to turn, it's either harder or softer. Pretty self explanatory, turn one way for hard, one for soft. Done.

I sold my coilovers, and I still regret it lol. They're a worthwhile investment if you're pedantic about ride height.

Yeh that's fair enough. I think I'll save up and get them sometime in the next 12 months or so
