I don't know why so many people go on about this?

Its just the classic case of you get what you pay for. No one goes on about how bad the cheap wheels you buy from Bob Jane or Tempe are. They are exactly the same and lots of people use them and dont really have that many problems. You just have a higher risk of getting a cracked rim rather than it bending which at highspeed or accident scenario is not ideal but thats not the cause, its the effect.

The one thing I don't like about rota is they rip off other peoples styles but then what I do like about them is they offer a large variety of pcd, offset, diameters and widths which a lot of wheel makers dont.

That saying I have ever only bought expensive brand name wheels because I like to have something that not a lot of other people have rather than quality but I have learnt valuable lesson that good rims are only as good as the tyres you put on them. I would prefer rota rims with good tyres than expensive rims with cheap tyres but obviously the best of both worlds is always better
