I was f'ing pissed off when it happened as i had been waiting so long to put them on the car, and to have this happen so soon was annoying. Now i'm looking into getting the rim repaired/repainted in the same colour/finish, but that has not been an easy task so far. Any suggestions?

Unless you're wanting to have the wheel re-painted, you can do what I do as I too have a niche scratch (thanks to Phat for the advice :P ). I use a black permanent marker pen! Just run the pen over the scratched area so that it hides any light colours that appears. This will turn the area a black/dark colour, which you can still spot up close, but from a distance you can hardly tell it's there. Just keep the marker in the car so you can re-apply after a car wash. But the best $2 I've ever spent (or free if you steal stationary supplies at work :D ).

Yeah Michael told me about that method.

Guys if your damage is beyond the paint (metal missing) I would suggest May Morton in Liverpool, they will grind back and weld on additional material…………. Their work is great but also expect to pay for it too.
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

Not sure how I missed this thread!?

Contemplating going a set of the +38's, mostly as they are such a good price, and I've been wanting to go for something more aggressive than my current setup!.. In silver metallic, unless I see them on and really don't thing they suit...

Rolling the guards is not an issue as I've done it enough times to know what's involved and what the risks are... but I am interested to know what camber Patrick was running with his?
By my calculations, with a stretch 235 tyre, and a couple of degree's of -ve camber, they shouldn't be rubbing on properly rolled guards?

Yup mines not rubbing and I have less than 1 finger space below the guard, corners were bad after extensive rolling and pulling so I resprayed all four corners since, and yes she is fat now but sexiest fat bitch I ever owned :)
