STi ECU on a GTB...

STi can complete the upgrade (STI ECU/tune) for the sum of $2500. Covered by factory warranty and should give similar performance to STI. Has anyone completed this?
Cheers

Where did you hear about this. Would be interested if it keeps the warranty.
Nothing in the sti section of subaru site, wonder would they drop price once the new model is released as the upgrade for my06 is about 1k?

Warranties are for pessimists :lol:

STi ECU = 8 - 10 kW ATW

Ecutek = 30 - 33 kW ATW (<$2000)

From research they have just tweaked it to run on 98 Octane, mufflers would add a liitle so even less worth it IMO.
