thats the reply haltech gave me, thus the reason im trying to find out what exactly was required. Splicing isn't a problem its whats to be spliced is the key. Fabbing up a piggy back loom isnt a problem.

The haltech website has heaps of info on what the stuff is.

They make the damn thing.. it'll be a simple question - does it splice or not. If it does, then there are instructions - go figure?

you should do your home work and while you where down at your new mates (Paul) (not that i have any thing against Paul) work shop you should of asked and you would have the answer

and yes you have to splice into the harness to use the intersepter

if the memember on here who has had this done would like to tell you about it but im guessing he will tell you it works and is able to make power gaines with out any problems

most piggy backs on the market require splicing of the harness including Japanese style units

I have a haltech arriving in the mail and have the necessary documentation to wire it in. I'll give a run down of the procedure (not a hard task) and results when its done. will be fitted & tuned when the CAI and TBE are fitted up.

Getting mine Ecutek'd in just over a week, so it will be interesting to see what it will make with just a custom TBE.
