What performance gains will be achieved from only changing the downpipe (and without getting a retune)?

Cheers

Well like i've written in my previous post.

I havent had a tune and have had no probs. Only have tbe with the DP supplied from the Phat.

That gave me 147kw from memory. Wasnt enough soo i added a hks evc right after with a final reading of 156kw. Still no tune for the last 6months with no problems.

Very responsive and and improvements in torque.

Recommended mod, and was the only dp available at the time. Been happy with it.

There would be no doubt that the best results will come from dump pipe and tune.

My own experience has been this, I had the DP for a month before the Ecutek tune and noted increased torque and general responsiveness but I was explicitly told only to use S or I, not S# for fear of boost spikes.

Once tune was done the result was 163kW ATW with no increase in boost pressure over std. I believe the 2.5 GT is generally accepted to have 130 or so in standard form.

I guess that would be me? But yeah, pics are up! Phat was too busy due to the arrival of his little one, so excuse my poor photography work. It was a dark garage and people were yelling at me for being in the work area.
