OK... Just posting this from the Perth-WRX thread:

"Hi guys,

I'm very happy to anounce 2 new Subaru turbochargers from GT Pumps

The GTPS02TM & GTPS03TM are a bolt on turbo for the MY08-09 WRX and Liberty GT with direct mount intercoolers. Prices are;

GTPS02TM - $1650
GTPS03TM - $1850

Both turbo's can be viewed here: http://www.gtpumps.com.au

Cheers
Abdus
Tenagah Motorsport "

For the record:

GTPS02TM = TD05 20G
GTPS03TM = TD06 20G

I ran a GT Pumps GTPS02 on my old 2L WRX and it was great! came on HARD at about 4k, but was still totally driveable from idle! Although with the extra 500cc in the Lib, It would be a perfect match IMO! :D

I'd be asking if they can do a TD05 18G.

20G is just too big for a responsive street car.

yes agreed on that Coyote, my main concern is getting the max out of my stock snail in the next couple of weeks and trying to decide if I am happy with what i have or need more. As we know getting more might not actually be a good thing for my daily driver street car. The cool weather and another tune w/ TBE (tuned previously with stock centre pipe and quads) will tell me something but my butt tells me its pretty damn close to the max now.

The price looks good and I have never heard any negatives from this snail but getting the right size is the key.

Fair comments/opinions, but I tend to disagree!

Having spent a significant amount of time in a 2L WRX with a TD05 20G plus a FMIC, I think it is the perfectly matched turbo for the 2.5T!

Especially combined with an effective TMIC, the increase in lag would not be that big.

It is after all the stock size turbo housing on the 2L Evo!?

Stock as a rock - 128kW ATW
Stage 1 - EcuTek Tune - 155kW ATW
Stage 2 - TMIC, Exhaust, CAI & Retune - 180kW ATW
Stage 3 - Turbo, Fuel Pump, Fuel Pressure Regulator, GT Headers.....

A bit of a hic-up in fitting new turbo to hyperflow TMIC tho, hopefully they can get it sorted today.. I will start a new thread when all finished and will post all four dyno runs.

Adam very interested to see your results :)

I've been investigating bolt on turbos for a little while now and this is currently sitting at the top of my list.

The S02 that is, my mate is running the S03 with forgies and damn... I like the results!

Have spoken to Mark from GT Pumps themselves, straight bolt alternative but just gotta make that final decision :) Instock off the shelf :)

A few issues with fuel system now.. Either new fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator is not doing what it is supposed to.. Seeing around 227kW ATW.. But tuner tells me that something is not right, can not get the right (enough) fuel pressure..

Adamw, what was wrong with fitting the Hyperflow TMIC?

The end tanks should bolt straigh onto the stock turbo so I'm assuming the upgrade (bolt on) should be the same?

Talking about fuel, I need to upgrade my fuel pump too... gotta call the Phat man :)

This is why it's my preference :)

Not sure exactly what issues they were having, something about the bolt holes not lining up exactly. I had the HyperFlow fitted a few months back with no issues at the time.. It was all sorted by Saturday morning..

I started a new thread with a bit of a description of the feel of new turbo..
