Hey guys, New to this forum.
just bought my new Liberty GT 09 Wagon 2.5l Turbo,
looking at doin a bit to it performance wise.
whats the best exhusts goin around and whats the best pod filters also. does anyone kno any good sites i can browzze?

hey brad,welcome and congrats on the new car, check out the threads by arith,he has arranged group buys for exhaust systems that where made by phat.quit a few on here have got them or getting them,i have his mufflers and am very happy with the added performance and sound they deliver.
come along to the meet on tuesday if you live in sydney and you can meet the guys and see the end results.

Hey Brad,

As libsti has said above, just look through these forums mate - there is plenty of stuff people have done for performance and looks on the 2.5T. There is a multitude of options for the 2.5T. Seriously, the best way to find out about some options is to look up key words in the 'search' function. This is what I did to get the info at the start and now I'm in the process of 'doing' the mods.

Brad, I think I mentioned in your intro thread that you just missed our gathering. Missed it by that much!! It was last w/e and was a ripper - just ot rub it in... haha! :lol:

Check the 'gatherings' thread for our next one. Nothings planned at the moment but it wont be long!

As for Phat - no website, just threads that pop up in the 'for sale' thread - good stuff too! Guys correct me if I'm wrong here!

Also, just bought and recieved a sti radiator cap from ebay, says it improves the coolin temp to 1.3 bar?? is that true?? are thay any good?

the 1.3 bar relates to the maximum coolant system pressure, not the temperature. A higher pressure will allow higher coolant temperature before you get the coolant boiling. Not really any use on the road. Might be useful on the track if you are running on a very hot day for an extended period. It won't make your car run any cooler

Yeeeeehhhaaaaa - finally, another car the same as mine!!!!

To post pics, jump in the photo's section, there is a step by step method. But, to short cut that, use photobucket or similar and copy and paste the link.
