Hi All,
Time is coming to change a timing belt second time (Liberty GT, 2010, EJ255). The current belt is over 100K and more than 5 years old.
Would like to hear your opinion on any extra work that as I heard people do as well when it comes to a time belt change.
That what I think of - is that feasible?
- change water pump to a new one
- change thermostat to a lower temp ( 21200AA072, 78 degrees)
- change coolant
What else would you look at and/or change as a preventative measure? I would not like to go to the timing belt area yet another time if something breaks or leaks there if it can be prevented.
P.S. Is there a single Subaru part number to a complete timebelt kit with all the required pulleys etc?
Appreciate your thoughts,
