ECU pinout for MY08 Liberty GTB 6 Speed

Postby TRVIING » Fri Aug 21, 2020 10:49 am

Hi guys,

Does anyone have the ECU pinout diagram for MY08 Liberty GTB 6 Speed? I am searching for a plug and play harness for the Haltech Elite 2500. Bloomslang Fab requires the pinout diagram to make the harness.

Appreciate for the help!

I have MY2008 pinout for from an USDM Legacy factory service manual.

It would be your risk whether the Japanese built 2.5 turbo is same or different.

Thanks mate. I have USDM service manuals too. I just want to make sure the ecu pinout is correct for my car.

Unfortunately, there are not many USDM Legacy GT Turbos gettting arround on Australian roads.

I’ll take a peek at the FSM link in my signature for the ADM specific manual.

Its on SLI.net:

Just in case your car is a tbSTi:

Its worth noting that the my08 tbSTi has a unique engine harness compared to: other postfl tbSTi and eg my08 GT.

Some part of the harness is split off the main engine bay plug, in a way thats more similar to GR STi.

I’m not sure if this consideration even affects the ecu plug, but it’s certainly imho worth mentioning.

Thanks Ben! I found ECM pin out for 07 H4DOTC in one of your FSM. I still don't know if it is AUDM ECM. My car is postface 07 Liberty 6 speed not a tbSti

Boomslang said the 2008-2018 Subaru STI NON-USDM harness will work. Do you guys reckon it so? Here is the PDF file for the ECU pinout I found from Ben's website

Not mine, these Subaru FSM’s are in the public domain.

My post is a compilation of FSM’s but also a guide to diy parts translation.

You’d want the FSM from general market/eudm/adm and confirm if the wiring diagrams and pinouts are DOTC but for single avcs, not dual avcs.

Chances are it’s the media fire my07 link above on sli net.

Yes so I went to look for it in the above link, more useful to cross reference the actual diagram than to take a stab at another models info:
