Just make sure the pod filter is on the INSIDE of the engine bay. :D

I've just done one myself with no manual, it's pretty easy. You use all the same mounting points as the original filter box including the heat sheild behind the headlight

If you get stuck shoot me a PM :D

it's a silver plate that seem to help channel the air onto the air sensor.

sits between the actual filter and the intake alloy pipe.

I think the Blitz kit came with that as well. Phat told me not to use that unless I was getting the CEL which comes up because the air flow sensor readings are off. I think you should try it without that plate/bar.

If I worked it out sans manual

Surely you can...

I only posted this to get in front of Chriskan who will undoubtedly make some joke to this effect.

Quick question about the Power Intake...

Does it void the warranty on the car if installed?? and also are there any issues installing the unit??
Looking at putting one on a 07GTB which is still under warranty.

Cheers

I'm pretty sure that if you end up with any problems and take it back to subaru, they will do whatever is in their power to place the blame on the aftermarket part therefore effectively rendering your warrenty void.

Also off the subaru website:

Repair, replacement and adjustment under the Subaru new vehicle warranty are not available for deterioration, defects, faults or failures due to:

Modifications or alterations, which have not been approved by the manufacturer, or the installation or use of non-genuine parts, accessories, equipment, assemblies or components.

Thanks for the info...

so in other words if I want to keep the warranty and not have any issues with it i dont touch the car till the warranty is out.

Thanks again
