I have just picked up a Subaru my07 with the sti tunning, unfortunately the engine cover has been removed. Does anyone know if there is another way to determine what number out 300 it is. It's a black wagon auto.

Ring Subaru and quote the nice lady your VIN.
She should be able to confimr it is a real Tuned by STi, she should be able to give you the sequence number plus register you as the new owner for the airbag recall.
