Postby GTSPECB STI » Wed Oct 15, 2008 10:56 pm

Verso for can bus...it farking works well. :D

Game on! Sean and Pete did their magic tonight on the Lib. Nice gains on stock tune, great bum dyno results! No more dbw stutter. Graph to be posted when I can scan but 350 Nm of torque is really there now.

Huge ups to Allstar Garage and Verso Automotive

subscibe to this thread and I will show you my graphs for free, oh and launch control is available!!!!

Awesome - let us know how general driveability is over the next few days.

I'm very very keen for this. What was the cost ?

Ah screw it, who cares anyway, I just wanna do it ! :-)

Yeha Ha.. Early Xmas present for me..

Are you running all stock? And of course, how much, is it the Usual price as per normal Verso Tunes?

Interested to see your gains :)

First of all, well done to the guys at Verso. They seem to be all over the connectivity thing for ODB-II based reflashes which is great!

Any idea what software and cable they used to talk to the CANBUS?

Also, before/after graphs (the usual 4: AFR x rpm, Nm x rpm, MAP x rpm, kW x rpm) and mod list please. :) The stock ECU maps have a lot to answer for from all I've seen and felt (driving daily).

This may just be the last piece of my puzzle solved. 8)

Cable has been available for quite some time:

Software is the problem.

There is still no freely available open source solution.

Does Verso still allow you to access your own ecu with other software, or does is does it drop encryption on your ecu to lock you out the way Ecutek does?

Verso does not lock out your ecu like ecutek. The cost is $990 and includes dyno time, plus they will re-tune for you at dyno time cost only. It also gives you Launch Control function! Running stock boost of 1.1 bar and A/F ration of 11.7 now.
