Had my mechanic order me a genuine subaru hose, just before I found out about the quality AVO throttle hoses.. :?

I think that is a common problem with the stock hoses.

Most people actually remove the rubber end pieces (pull them off) and reuse the hose.

You don't normally need to order new hoses from Subaru.

I took mine off when I had the intercooler removed during my throttlebody coolant bypass.
