Clutch Adjustment

Postby gtspec » Wed Oct 15, 2008 10:40 am

Hey Guys/Girls

I noticed my clutches friction point is all the way up the top (away from the floor) and it really annoys me.. i think mainly cause i have always had my cars in the middle or closer to the floor..

Does anyone else notice this or is it just me? Some of my friends even tell me my clutch could be on its way out  my car has only just ticked over 30,000kms

Mine was like that from day one, I don't think it's too much to worry about (I hope). I mentioned it to Subaru at the first service and they said everything was fine.

woohoo.. so im not the only one

im not so much worried about it being a problem because i still have the car warranty thing.. i just wanted to move the friction point lower for a comfort reason.. i prefer it that way

u wouldnt happen to know how to do it?

Revving to 5K and sidestepping clutch gets around the high friction point issue.

My 3.0RB has a similar issue I think... the clutch is not close to the floor at all.
