I say the up pipe is not much bang for buck. Old wrx's used to have cat in the up pipe which would with age break up and damage the turbo and in that case a def good mod. How do I know because my old 2001 bugeye suffered that fate. I bought the Perrin up pipe which was great quality manufacture and fit, problem solved.

Down pipe is much better bang for buck.

Trust me, i am so close to making a purchase but i just want to be sure that all these parts are direct bolt-ons, and don't require major modification, or else that defeats the purpose of what i want to do, ie to keep it looking stock in almost every way but with more "go" than stock.

Do you reckon the Boost Control Solenoid will be of any use given that i will be getting a HKS EVC?

Prices that i've been quoted from SubiEvolution are:

- Oil Catch Can/Overflow Tank - $214
- Lightened Crank Pulley - $199
- Radiator Hose Kit - $221
- Header - $1,106
- Fuel Rail Upgrade Top Feed - $590
- Fuel Rail Upgrade Side Feed- $605
- AFTA-MAF Tube - $118
- Turbo Inlet Hose - $354
- Boost Control Solenoid - $140
- Up-Pipe - $295

These are retail prices... is anyone able to help me out with getting Trade prices?

SubiEvolution are the only Australian reseller in the Perrin network so I doubt it.

SubiEvolution are the only Australian reseller in the Perrin network so I doubt it.

They did tell me that they do Trade prices, so some people would be able to take advantage of that... i just need to find these people

How did you go with the Perrin gear? What did you end up getting? Any details on fitment and performance gains??

Hey Adam,

So far i have got the headers and up-pipe, but i am in the process of also getting the turbo inlet hose, AFTA-MAF tube, radiator hose kit and the boost control solenoid.

I haven't installed the headers and up-pipe as i'm waiting until i finalise all purchases (of perrin gear and other stuff) and then i intend on getting all the gear installed at once.

The quality of the heades and up-pipe is awesome, so i have little doubt that their other parts will also be of the highest quality.

They need to be imported from the US.

T-REXX is putting together a group buy for Perrin parts at the moment.
