Great to hear that it worked for you! I've reapplied the WD40 PTFE a few times now. Certainly only a short term solution. But like you mentioned, at least you know where the problem is for sure.

Yeah, the noise has come back now. Pretty much a week like you said.
Oh well, eventually I'll get it fixed properly....
