Does my 2007 GT-B have a banjo bolt?

Hey guys, from what I have heard, SOME Liberty GTs have the oil supply filter bolt/banjo bolt and some do not.
Is this true or have I heard incorrectly?

I have a MY07 2007 GT-B auto and it has done 153k, getting a service soon so I thought if it has the banjo bolt I'll get it replaced for peace of mind. Apparently the bolts can get clogged and starve the turbo for oil.

Where can you buy them? Ebay? Garage88?
Appreciate the replies,
Thanks, Ethan

All of them have the banjo bolt.
The issue is actually a little plastic filter inside the bolt itself.
As for replacement, don't bother. Just pull it out, and throw it away.

Really? Is it safe to do that? Is that what you did?

That's what I, and many others have done.
It's completely up to yourself if you choose to do it or not.

As for safety. Seems more people blow turbos with the filter there, than with it removed. Take from that what you will.

Subaru themselves put out an advice to remove it.

As Bili Corgi posted the link to Subaru's article recently - Subaru did not advise to remove it. They wrote that it needs to be checked and cleaned as according to service intervals.

It still serves a purpose, and shouldn't clog up that quickly.

The AVCS banjo bolt filters, can pretty much go in the bin though. IIRC a lot of them have already been removed in AUD postFL libs.

Thats what I mean... I have heard that SOME have them and SOME do not. If its not too difficult, then I'll be checking mine for it

You want to check the banjo behind the lhs head cam gear eg when doing a timing belt service.
And the turbo/rhs avcs oil feed banjo under the inlet just infront of the turbo.
I've checked the other, more accessible banjos already: no filters.
Mines a late 06 build my07, I should be able to confirm within the year ;)

Any have a guide of sorts that shows all the bolt locations?

Doing an oil and filter change soon so I want to check/clean them when I do.

You'll find plenty of related info on eg LegacyGT or check out the oil supply info on opposed forces and in your FSM.
Look for WIDELOAD DIY on lgt...

Clogged drivers side banjo is more specific to prefl which may have lots of filters eg turbo, inlet and exhaust avcs.
They're not confirmed for postFL see my comment above ^^^

Don't confuse the issue with failing OCV's rather diagnose using Tactrix or BtSsm and then take appropriate action.
Eg look for ocv inactivity (jammed) or oscillation (worn out faulty)...

In my case, I have previously replaced my OCV's but still have a little ocv lag at lower revs, so I'd target the one behind the lhs cam gear as per wideloads diy or do it at timing belt service...
