imo, just spend the extra $500 and have the heads done at the same time

I would rather spend the 500 to machine the heads out rather than on forged pistons for that power level

The 2013 onward ej257 short blocks are pretty good as I understand it

Iirc Owen, Alex etc are around the 250wkw with supporting mods on stock 257 shorts... (?)
