Hi
Just put a new boost gauge in and when it starts reading boost over 10 psi it makes a ticking noise inside of the gauge.. Wondering what this could be. Is the gauge faulty ?
Any advice would be great
Thanks
Ben

It's a saas 52mm mech boost gauge and is plumbed into the same spot as bigbadbennys. The line for the gauge is ran through the 1/4 panel then through the grommet for power in the doors and over the glovebox and into cubby..

Here's one of the gauge its self. Used this as it was in the shed doing nothing.. Should I invest in a better one?

I have the same gauge but haven't experienced this issue. Plumbed in the same area too, might be faulty?

I wouldn't have thought Ive got water or moisture in there.. What do you think take it out and check for signs of moisture.. If there was anything else in the gauge would it fall out by turning it on its back and giving it a shake or would this not be good for the gauge ?

sorry got my conversations mixed up, unlikely to be water. Id say the gauge is just about finished. Worth while investing in another. Turbosmart do one for $60 which is simple and nice to look at

Hook it up to another pressure source to see what happens.
