Heat after dump pipe & 3 port

Hey guys,

Is anyone here experiencing heat entering the cabin after installing dump pipe and mids to stock mufflers and a 3 port? I've noticed quite a bit of heat entering into the cabin where the pedals are and can also feel it coming from underneath the car up the sides when I open the door.

temp gauge stays the same in the middle or just under. I don't have an obdi at the moment so I'm not sure exactly what it's sitting at.

any ideas why this is happening or advice on what I should check up?

Is there a heat shield on the new dump?

Is the dump hitting / too close to the fire wall? As the dump gets hot it will expand...make sure it hasnt expanded near the firewall or just underneath...

I got my factory heat shield modified to suit the new DP when I got it fitted. Make sure you have a heat shield on of some description or you will cook things prematurely.

I also got my factory great shield modified when the dump was installed. I had a quick look last night and it doesn't look like the dump is touching the firewall.

Any other ideas as to why this might be happening? Is anyone else experiencing this?
