112,500 service? It won't be cheap (I'd expect close to $1k at a stealership), and you should consider replacing the water pump at the same time.

OEM cast impeller water pump part no. 21111AA026 compatible with ej255...

At my 112k belt service I raised the pump issue, and was told its not worth doing unless there are signs of leaks or bearing issue. They are pretty reliable.

The reason people replace them, isn't because of reliability issues, guys

I know it's prevention Alexei. If my mechanic sees any leaking or bearing noise around the water pump next service though (which is next week) I will be replacing it regardless.

I am getting my timing belt service done next month by Serge (125K). He said not to bother with the water pump or cam seals on these motors, just belt, all pulleys and idlers and front main oil seal. Service handbook says this service should take 4hrs in labour for a qualified workshop so you can use that as a guide. At this many Ks you might start getting some oil weeping on the bottom of the cam covers but no benefit to doing this at the same time from a saving labour perspective but something that probably needs to be done in the next 50K of things may get messy.

Basically if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Meaning just do the belt, idlers and tensioner parts unless there's evidence of leaks...
Heresy to some but plain commonsense to others.

When I had my 300k belt job done, the mechanic (independent) advised the tensioner bearings were munted. Thanks to Subaru's exorbitant parts pricing ($600-odd for pulley & bearing kit), that nearly doubled the price of the job. $1300 all up.
