EOI: Phat Dump Pipes

Postby Phong1704 » Tue Nov 25, 2014 2:52 pm

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone here is keen on getting a phat dump pipe? I just called garage 88 but I'll need another 4 players before they go ahead with production.

I'll also add I'm looking to get it for my 07 Liberty GT Spec B Auto Sedan

Who's with me?

Thanks Phong.

Two more question - installing this to stock system

- will it be louder at all ? (slightly rite ?)
- everything is supplied including gaskets ?

Thanks.

I'm interested also, Liberty MY07 GT-B Auto. What's the lead time on these? Is a tune essential after install?

My advice is for those who have never fitted turned a spanner before and rely on their car for daily duties, I would suggest getting a professional exhaust shop to fit it. DP's can be a PITA to fit while still maintaining the necessary clearances.

Do you have a tune currently on the car now? Who is your tuner? Go by his recommendations.

You definitely need a tune/retune after this is fitted. I would hold off fitting it until you have made arrangements to get the car tuned with a day or so of the DP fitment. Even then stay off S# mode and drive it super sedately until you get it tuned.

No tune yet, running stock apart from a set of Tcp Quads. Don't have a tuner, was thinking maybe Willall Racing or S&J.

Either one of those would be fine. In fact either of those places will also fit the DP too. So if you tee up the tune with the DP fitment you wont have to worry about throwing any CEL codes and you can drive the car the way you want. :D
