Anytime

Just do your research with the type of tuning system each of those places use before you make a decision and make sure you are happy with it.

Tune isn't necessary.

It's beneficial but far from necessary.

I had a full TBE on my car for a couple of years without a tune and it ran fine. Only threw 2 cels in that time.

Even when phat installed mine he said a tune isn't necessary.

That's fair enough Ryan. Everyone is different but if my car threw 2 CEL's I'd probably crap my pants. I'd personally err on the side of caution myself but if others would like to chance it, be my guest.

So long as we have a minimum total of 5 they said they will go a head. I went in to have a chat with them last weekend to confirm if it were possible.

They told me to get everyone to give them a buzz or email with deposit before they start production because in the past people have said they were keen but then backed out for what ever reason.

Did the same and find below the response I got from them.
Phong who have you been talking to from Garage88?

Hi Rno,

At the moment the Phat GT dump pipe does not fit automatic cars. We are also not looking to make any in the near future due to the lack of demand for it.

Regards,

Jerry

Am I too slow for this, I've heard a bit about the phat dump pipes recently but, benefit vs. other dumps which look to be cheaper?

I'd also be in (buying for a friend with an 08 GTSpecB). Are we getting close to the numbers required?

I spoke to Phat a fortnight ago, he said that there was 5 dumps in production and that 2 were already sold. So I guess with the demand he might be making a current batch regardless of this possible group buy

and btw, the inquiry was for a 07 5AT dump

Ah ok cool, thank you. I read another thread where someone bought one recently, so I've emailed G88. Fingers crossed!
