Direct fit 2.5 MT Dump Pipe??

Postby tom_kauf » Sun Jul 20, 2014 6:27 pm

A mate of mine is after a Dump Pipe for his Liberty (now that I have my Xforce), but he doesn't even want to modify anything. Not even modifying the Turbo Heat shield required for the Xforce dump install. Just him being picky I guess....

Are there any MY09 2.5 6MT Dump pipes with Cat (or can have a Cat bolted on after) and from Mild Steel that are a direct fit? Ideally with a Flex Joint and 200cell Cat (egg smell is a bit much on 100cells for my mate).

I don't think money is an issue.
But after searching the forum for hours, all I see are LHD pipes that cause fitment issues with RHD cars. And PhatGT's which need more people for an order. Xforce which requires a heat shield mod. And Nvidia??

What about MRT's? I know MRT not exactly liked on this forum, but are they a direct fit and quality?

No need for modifying the heat shield if you get an aftermarket one such as the Cobb Stainless Steel Heat Shield. Then you can put any dump pipe on. The Invidia Aus Spec looks like a nice unit and has cat.

All aftermarket dump pipes need the heat shield modified as the shield is too close to the wastegate outlet
