Its not a service item but can be a source of mystery oil consumption, rough idle etc.
So at 200K its on my list of replacement items: its possibly knackered by now...
When new the PCV should rattle when shaken.
On some Subarus, the PCV is integrated into the 3way that sits atop the CCV.
Integrated and very hard to separate from the 3way apparently.
On those cars, theres an adapter screwed into the inlet mani, which goes to a smaller diameter hose to the PCV in the 3 way.
But on the ADM 2.5T the PCV is screwed into the inlet mani.
The basic item is P/N 11810AA060
Its tucked away towards the rear of and screwed into the inlet mani and is fed by the CCV via the 3 way junction hose.
All good except its not on the Opposed Forces page!
Its is on the Russian version though.
Listed as 11810
So then I googled that and found its rather generic!
