I have a waterspray controller that requires tapping into an injector wire for IDC sense.

I'd like to make a male to female plug extension for a plug n play solution, no need to cut into the injector harness wiring.

I have a spare engine harness for the loom side injector plug, can I just hack the socket from eg an old injector to make my PnP harness extension?

If you're able to make a extender plug that works, I'd be interested in one as well (happy to pay an appropriate price!

Yeah one alternative is to simply tap the wires where they go to the ECU in the passenger footwell.

But I'd rather do it without cutting into any part of the harness or loom at all.

All we need is a couple of old or broken top feed injectors as the loom I have of course has 4x plugs.

I'm doing the same for my wastegate failsafe using the socket from a stock BCS and the harness side plug.

Have you sourced the spray hardware for yours yet?

I'm just about to place an order for the nozzles/check valves/caps/etc from Spraying Systems (they have several reps across Australia). I'm going for two of each, as I don't know if a single nozzle will produce enough spray for the whole width of the Process West TMIC.

Next thing for me to do is figure out the pump

I bought a spare wagon washer bottle to install in the RHS guard.
Brainy gave me the idea... The filler neck is just under the snorkel, and the stock airbox needs to have a front corner trimmed.

The spray hardware: either go OEM with Sti nozzles from Tuspeed (the PW shroud is slotted for these iirc) and a Y pipe, tubing and check valve from a wreck washer assy; or go your custom route
Since it's a smart controller you can opt for more, finer low pressure nozzles.
I'm on the fence a bit but want to get mine done... ASAP basically.
The ultimate solution is an espresso pump with a very fine brass nozzle for maximum misting
I have a spare 5l boot bottle and pump, send u a pic later...

You should check out build thread of "Rowie" on OzFoz. He has an immaculate TMIC water spray setup he did himself.
