Best 60ft I've achieved was 1.69

On my best run of 12.2, it was a 1.72 60ft

Technically the autos do make a bit less power than manuals. But at our level of mods its only 5-10wkw... you cant even feel that. Thats less than the variance between 2 identical cars by different tuners.

Having been in your car Dave, I felt your car was a bit slower than mine even from the passenger seat, and we have the same mods. Auto vs Manual.

What autos do very well is eliminate driver error. Having always owned manual cars, im happy to admit that not every launch was flawless. But in my auto, I nail the launch every time hahaha

After bumper to bumper traffic and sitting parked cooking the intercooler in summer, are you sure?. I need a trip to the drags why don't you come along in your car

Gone up to $55 I think

Make sure your helmet has as/nz standards sticker (the latest one - must say as/nz otherwise you will not be allowed to race)

Saying an auto is going to be slower in a straight line compared to similarly/identically modded manual because it puts down less power is crazy.
SH Foz; VF52; DP (stock cat back); ID1000s; E85; consistent 12.9 (12.89 to 12.935) at 106 with 1.9s/60'; I'll admit, I had quicker 60' times (low-1.8s) with stock injectors and 98RON tuned by PiTS because I could get about 10-12psi on brake boost, while I could only get 4-5psi with my tune for larger injectors (both 98RON and E85).

The VF52 is a BRILLIANT street turbo IMO, auto or manual :)

$55 to race. $20 for an adult as a spectator.

You need an approved helmet (http://www.sydneydragway.com.au/uploads ... mation.pdf), long sleeve shirt (or jacket), long trousers, enclosed shoes.
