Oil leak on front grill?

Hey,

My house mate just pointed out some oil on my front grill / ground. I had a feel around and couldn't identify a source. Does anyone know of anything on the front right that could have caused it?

There was another few drops between the front and sump plug, but couldn't identify the source there (above was plastic that was all clean).

The pools could have been another car, but it doesn't explain the oil on the front grill.....

I'd drop a drip off the dip stick onto the floor adjacent to see if it's your oil or not...

Sorry about blury cam!

Benny my drops are on the left, the other two are what was already there. Thanks for the great idea. I think it is a slightly different colour.

Decided to pull the bumper off just to double check, no signs of oil (or any source that it could even come from).

No one else here knows of anything that might have been spilt, so I am probably going to write off that it was something I've hit on the road or similar. Still just very weird. Going for another look now.

Car is all back together after a quick wash inside the bumper.

Still have no idea about the source of the oil / liquid.... it was sitting outside on the gravel Friday night, then Saturday I moved it in to the garage. I would have thought If I hit something it would have dripped off over night....

Oh well... I'll see if it returns.

Is it auto. The transmission oil lines run to the integrated oil cooler in the radiator via a remote mounted oil filter mounted in the inner guard behind the passenger head light. Might need to remove the battery to see it. Check your lines and clamps for leaks.
