My Lib is fairly stock: 3"TBE, DW65c pump and TH tune are the main mods...
I'd like to go a little further to enhance my driving enjoyment thus asking for some advice to help complete the plan.

Parts collected so far:
SS EL headers 4:2:1 with 3 bolt up pipe waiting to be wrapped and bolted up.
preFL AVO TMIC (optional: in case I find a non flanged outlet turbo to suit)
VF52 (optional)

I understand I can use the VF52 w/o requiring an injector upgrade, can anyone recommend a smallish responsive turbo that would suit ELH with or without an injector upgrade?

Eg: billet comp 18g?
Any advice taken!

Blouch 380XT is small, flanged, almost bolts strait in and is the fastest spooling turbo I've seen. It's available from Car Mods Australia. Ask for it with the 7cm housing for best response and the ceramic coating. While your getting it fitted be sure to get a steel braided turbo oil line too. Stock oil line tends to crack. Process West make the best TMIC. Be careful with headers. EL is good for flow but if the pipe is too large they will increase turbo lag. A lot of aftermarket headers are large. Perrin make small ones to suit normal engines. Theres no way you need injector upgrades. I'm running over 200kwatw on 18psi and my stock injectors are fine. It's all in the tune.

Check my profile for the list of supporting parts I have fitted around the Blouch. Maj3sticCr0w also has the Blouch and the results were excellent for him too. Peak boost in the mid 2000rpms.

I like the idea of EL headers for the mid and top range sound and the egt temps etc but don't want to regret excess lag.
(as per usual please correct me if I'm mistaken)

Small turbo + high boost
or Big Turbo + Low Boost
Same airflow = same power

Personally I'd go for the bigger turbo on less boost.
lower temps, less back-pressure, lower intake temps less stress, less peaky to drive, ability to run lots more ignition timing for more power and more efficiency.
tune it until you run out of injectors.

"Lag" is overcome by good tuning of the "NA" side of things,
something which a lot of people can not grasp.
they just dump in fuel and retard the timing to get EGT's up to make the turbo spool (then run into problems with compressor surge).
go the other way, bring the turbo on slower, but make power with timing and leaner mixtures

Good advice well taken since I'm really liking the lower boost TH tune: 15psi max.

Get twin scroll headers if you want better low down

Agreed. 4:2:1 might be a good compromise.

20G front with 8cm rear and BB centre... that will be a sweet 2.5L combo.

Id go a dom1.5xtr slightly bigger comp wheel than the 20g, guys are getting big power on e85 and comes on boost early
