Fuel pump question

Hey guys,
Only just joined the forum, I am about to become an owner of an 07 tbSTI. This is going to be my second car to move north with while my MY00 version VI Sti stays in brissy. The tbSTI It has about 100K on it so the 60 mth service is due. I know that the fuel filter gets done at this time but I am wondering if it is worth straight up replacing the fuel pump. The car is stock and will be remaining that way.
Any suggestions would be grateful.

Nah. Leave the stocker in there.

Be aware that it's cheaper to buy a dw65c fuel pump in its entirety than just the replacement filter sock for the stock pump (which is due on one of the major services).

My vote is to go the DW65c kit inc. the o rings and filter sock from eg Tuspeed, plus a replacement in tank filter/pump holder from eg Makin and Luby.
Its as quiet as stock, is self installable, and you have the peace of mind of more flow regardless of mods or not.

DW65C is one of the best non-racing pumps you can fit to these cars. Its quiet, power efficient and fits almost perfectly in the stock pump holder without modification. You may need to add a second o-ring seal on top of the original as this pump seems to be a tiny fraction shorter than the stock on certain models and may leak a tiny bit. If you smell fuel in the cabin when you get in for the first time that day, this is likely your problem. No tune needed. This pump simply adds more head room to your flow.
