Sorry in advance if this has been covered. But i'm trying to figure out if my car is a pre facelift or facelift model. Can some explain the differences...or better still here are the things i have on the car standard. The car is 2007 Liberty GT Spec B with 14 speaker sound system, auto, s-line drive, HID headlights, sat. nav, 18in alloys, sunroof, climate control, steering wheel controls for stereo etc. It also has a plain black mesh grill insert which i rarely see ..almost every car i've see has the chrome garnish on the front bar... like this

Anyway, i would be grateful for feedback as i've made the decision to upgrade my McIntosh HU so this will be for sale shortly and i want to ensure i am describing it correctly wheni advertise.

If thats a photo of your car, its a post face lift (2006 onwards are from memory, correct me if I'm wrong).
I'm not to sure about the differences, but I think the preface lifts were 2.0T engines.
Spec B's are the higher equipped models and I think all the things you mentioned are standard spec B features (except sat nav).
Not to sure the difference in the grills though.

Yours is definitely a post face lift model.

Prefacelift models are from 2004-06.
Facelifted models are from 2007-09. (to make things a bit more complicated, Subaru started manufacturing these in the second half of 2006 but with the same specs as the 2007 model)

The most obvious difference is the shape of the headlights; the facelifted model has a rounded side which comes to a sharp(ish) point(where as the pre face lift headlights have straight sides)
The grille is also bigger in post face lift models.
All the options you mentioned are items which come standard on the Spec B models. Although the Sat Nav is an additional feature from the factory. The grille you have is the genuine Subaru sports mesh grille which is an optional accessory. The post facelift Spec.B also has a different front bar to the pre facelift spec B and the regular GT.

Most of those differences are subtle. The easiest way to tell is by the $10k price difference
