System was around $1200 - $1400 and it is 2.5" into 2.25 from memory . Also on the fuel thing my I mode is tuned for 95 and S & S# for 98.

No reason we just put it on to check the afr's and to check the boost.

thanks mate, I went to a shop and got a price today. He suggested 2.5" all through?? and quoted $1100 installed. He didnt use Hi-tech muffler and didnt include the replacement of the cat (something to do with the sensors)? did you replace the cat with a high flow cat?

thanks

James

No I did not replace the cat as I did not want to alter anything including sensors from a factory perspective, talking to Subaru where I service my car the advice was that cat back is OK but turbo back may be a problem if there are any issues warrantly wise.

I also have Hitech mufflers installed and I highly recommend them. Very nice boxer tone, no drone and not too loud (but not cheap)

Did you go with a free flow cat, catback, or just the mufflers? I was thinking of just mufflers only as I'm wary about sticking on a hi-flow cat, but is it worth it because more power would be had from a catback setup?

I just got the mufflers for a bit of sound (adds no power that I could feel). I think at some point I will go back and get an UP and DP for performance gains.
