Replacement panel air filter

Postby bosc0 » Fri Jun 14, 2013 8:00 am

Which one do you have and why?

I have an HKS non sealed version. Looking to upgrade to a "sealed" dry (reusable) version.

I had an Apexi and also a Blitz dry panel filter, same shite different colour. Every 5k or so I used to blow them out with a compressor, to keep them clean and for longevity.

What about the HKS panel filter that phat sells, its washable from memory..

Apexi make a dry filter?

I have the HKS dry in at the moment, needs a good wash. Apparently the was its contructed, it doesn't seal 100% and still lets dirt and dust into the intake. Can be fixed up, but i'd rather something that works out of the box.

I got a HKS one from Phat. Its a dry one I think. Just gets the air compressor treatment every service. That's what the guys at G88 recommended and its fine for my use.
Cheers
