Lighten Crank Pulley Experience

Has anyone had installed a one of these

Pros & Cons.....Also do our cars need the stretch belt system? or does it have a tension-er?

I would check, but my car has been getting it ohlins install for the last 3 days

I have heard that replacing it with a good harmonic balancer is better.....

Has the same affect as a light weight fly wheel
Chops out your belts
Aids chatter of the oil pump that it protects ( its right behind the pulley )

MRT push the lightened pulley wheels pretty hard as the make a huge profit margin on them.

Buddha may have them on his lib.

I know Mick South said they don't do much so I didn't bother.

my car has go fast bits pulleys that are under driven and a lightened fly wheel, these would have been fitted by mrt when they were working on it.

the under driven pulleys can be a pain on hot days as the ac doesnt work as well.

car doesnt have any vibration issues but the car does drop revs faster in gear changes compaired to a standard car

Switching to S# is a cheaper and easy way to get improved throttle response.

I have lightened flywheel and crank pulley and it sucks, drives shit in heavy stop.go traffic, ill switch back to stock one when i can, to much inertia loss on the crank.

I don't have much issue driving around the city with my fly and pulleys being lightened. Great for the race track and fast gear changes lpl

I have had them, and lightened flywheels etc.
I love the lightened setup, it takes 10mins to work out how to drive the car with one, and your good to go.

I reccomend getting OEM size lightened pulley so the alternator and AC work as they should.

MRT are a joke, all they do is rip people off
