At the exhaust shop and the movement of the rear diff seems a bit excessive. Just wondering if there's firmer bushes available to stop the movement? The tailshaft knuckle is moving over 2cm and hitting the exhaust as it goes underneath.

Look at a pitch stop mount before the diff bushes.

Easier to install and fixed and a similar problem I had.

I recommend Kartboy over the STI.

I have replaced my Sti diff cradle with a beatrush from the phat man. And it's SOLID!!!! Has made a bit of an increase in NVH tho.

Thanks guys, looking to keep the car comfortable and quiet so NVH is a concern. I'll go for a pitch stop mount. Either Kartboy or Perrin. From reading, some people notice more NVH with the Kartboy, but can't find anyone complaining about the Perrin so I might go for that as they're the same price.

The exhaust shop managed to get a good inch of clearance but I can still get it to hit (if I try). So hopefully this will help a lot and I'll get the exhaust shop to sit the exhaust back up a little higher

Don't buy the kart boy if you want to keep nvh. I've been in bruce's car and the nvh is pretty bad. I personally went with the Grp n STi pitch stopper and made a massive difference on my car with minimal sacrifice to nvh

I then fitted the Grp n STi tranny mount. It was bad for nvh but awesome in terms of enhancing the shift, much more crisper and precise.

Thanks, going to go with the Perrin one as from what I've read there's bugger all increase in NVH A bit more solid than the STi one, I want to get it as good as I can without more NVH, that way the exhaust can be mounted back up to where it was originally.

If you decide to replace your rear diff bushings I would recommend Whiteline. I did the upper and lower rear diff bushings on mine last summer and love em.
