Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have bothered to upgrade your trans coolers on your autos yet?

Wanting longevity from the trans, I tend to do city traffic and want to make sure the auto is kept in check. My driving style is 'spirited' with the occasional hills drive and I use the flappy paddles to shift a lot.

What brand of cooler do you have/recommend?

I bought senator's Zerosports transmission cooler. I'm fairly certain he had it for a couple of years and had no issues. I have not installed it yet though, it's on the to-do list!

Shav are you looking for DIY fit or a workshop?
MV Automatics in Blackwood have always been good to me - strengthened the trans in the Legnum, and can supply/fit trans coolers. They arent the cheapest, but definitely one of the better workshops around.

I had Bruce install one on the BA while it was there, otherwise i would've sent the BA to MV also.

Yeah they are opposite Blackwood dyno arent they? I know where they are. I dont want to DIY it as I dont have the time to touch the car myself. The other option is to ask S&J what they charge, or just call up Greg Bridge or DRW's in Lonsdale their pricing.

Or you could go the easiest way and buy the genuine oem Subaru auto trans cooler kit which fits perfectly and comes with all required hoses and clips / bolts
