Hey guys, about to get a tune on my 07 gt tbsti and I already have a tcp tbe and a spt intake, just wondering if it's worth getting a grimmspeed 3 port boost solenoid and a turbosmart bov. The tuner said on top of the basic tune it'll be another 400 to tune in the solenoid and bov. Just wondering if it's worth spending the 300 for the parts and 400 extra for the tune. I'm not pushing my car hard so not looking for massive power and only drive it on weekends. Any help would be appreciated.

$400 EXTRA to tune the car because of a bov and a boost solenoid?
Who's tuning your car if you don't mind me asking??

The parts are $275. Fitting of both would be an hour max.
There shouldn't be an extra charge to tune those mods.
Worth doing though.

You are getting stitched up, possibly by someone who doesn't know what they are doing.
PM me if you're interested in an alternative.

It's from chiptorque, got a ezy flash controller I got from jaz and just need to get it tuned for my car. Was told 2 hours of dyno so 700 for a mod tune to the existing flash but if I want get a custom tune with the solenoid and bov then it'll be 1100.

Well Lachlan does at least know what he's doing.

Yeah not sure if I'm getting 2 different stories, Lachlan said 700 for everything then when I talked to Leigh the saleswoman she said there will be an extra charge for the solenoid and bov. Might have to ring Lachlan and sort it out with him.
