i bought myself a liberty GT-B wagon back in march and have been super happy with it, hasnt missed a beat.
still loving it and now looking to maybe do a few mods to wake it up a bit and hopefully impove the economy.
was hoping some people here might have some suggestions?
exhaust, intake, down pipe and tune come to mind but i was hoping someone could recommend specifics and where might be a good place to get the work done in south east melbounre, or if i could/should just order over net and do it myself? and; if theres anything else i should be considering?
any help would be great.

As far as tuning is concerned - KiDo tuning is the answer. Matt is the guru and will be the best for your car.

Certainly include a dump pipe, panel filter and either a cat back or TMIC.

Lots of options and opinions here.

My recommendations is to get a Turbo back exhaust system and a Dyno Tune from KiDo in Melbourne.

You'll be pretty impressed with extra power, torque and drivability (should get better economy as well).

There are so many exhaust systems available for Libs and everyone will have an opinion.

If you want to keep your car looking and sounding close to stock, upgrade the exhaust system from the Turbo and keep the standard mufflers.

You don't lose too much from the standard mufflers until you start doing serious mods.

My tuner says there is nothing to gain from air box and air filter upgrades until you start doing serious mods.

The intake pipe from the air box to the turbo is a good modification which i'm getting done next week along with a Turbo and headers upgrade.

If you're happy with the Exhaust and Tune, you can then think about turbo, intercooler and intake mods at a later stage.

Sway bar and lower control arm bush upgrades are another highly recommended Mods.

Seriously? My parts are a great combo and Garage88 is the best place to have parts fitted.

thanks for the advice. i wouldnt mind it a little bit louder but i spose the dump pipe would give it a bit more growl?
kido definatley seems like the go but obviously id like to get the rest of the mods done first to optimise the tune.
intake to turbo pipe is not something id considered. youll have to let me know how yours goes and the $$$ involved.

Honestly can't remember.

I just call Michael (Garage88) and tell him what I want. He tells me what I need, I give him credit card details and the stuff appears.

I know his prices are good, so don't shop around.

If you are going with coyote's hard ware you might as well scavenge my turbo too. You can go from stocker to great handling with 250+kw at the wheel overnight.
Edit: oh, and I have an AVO inlet, maf pipe and filter I have no need for.

I don't think he's interested. But if he was, it would be around $4k-$5k (not including labour).

Ask anyone who has done it how far that amount of goes.

not looking to replace turbo but will your inlet and maf fit a stock one?

I would imagine so, if you can wait a week or two I will check it out. (I am overseas at the moment)
