Hi Guys,

As long as the weather holds ill put my FMIC on this weekend, and do a write up for anyone wanting to do the same. So lots of pics etc.

One question i have, where can i put my intake temp sensor on a stock 07sti TMIC?

I want to take before and after intake temp readings to inform the masses. When i did this on my RS my intake temp went from ~70C to ~30C, and i want to do the same with the gen4. (stupid plastic everything)

Is there somewhere i can jam this thing and not break anything?

P.S. any specific info/pics people want or need?

Just re read your post again....so lets get this right?

you want to put sensors on the hot side and cold side of the cooler? :)

you can grab the info off your OBDII port via MAF for the intake temp going to the turbo? then just fit another sensor to feed you the info going to the throttle body?

what type of sensors? pics?

Your right, ill clear it up.
I just want a single sensor on the throttle body, as in the temp its going into the engine.
Its a probe style sensor like so:

Yeah.
Your missing what I mean.

I have a sensor.

I'll find somewhere to put it, I was just asking if there was a convenient location for this.
Much like there is on the alloy manifolds.

Not a lot of help so far hey Dan! Looks like you're going to need a sharp drill bit and a small gromit :)

Just a CX racing one. more then enough, good for 270kw no drama. not that this car will get to that

Install finished, but i need to screw around with it tomorrow so I can get the foggies back in.

Pretty painless install to be honest, just always fun cutting into an sti bar ;)

Only drama is the foggies, if i have to make a custom bracket i will.

Pics later, and a write up, im getting into the scotch now.

Install finished yesterday arvo, just been busy.
Havent got the intake temp sensor in, but went for a drive, jebus does a FMIC completely own a TMIC in every aspect possible.

Lag is officially zero(still stock turbo though, the td05-20g will go on soon)

Hauls ass alot better straight out of the box.

My camera has decided to have some sort of memory card ass retard moment, and wont give up the pics, i will fix this by means of a hammer if i must, and do a write up soon.
