Going by this pulse logic. When i bought my car it had the CAI, full exhaust with stock Sti quads and 2 or 3 pulse racing stickers ( good for 15 kw atw each!! For real yo ). So my car must have been around the 250kw atw. I alwas knew that wheel spin in 2nd gear in a straight line wasnt normal, now i know why !!!!

Now that i have a FMIC then i must be in the 300 kw atw club !!! Heheh i wish!

To be fair, an MY09 WRX has a VF52 and a GTB Liberty has a VF46.

I'm not defending anyone's dyno figures, but there's a significant difference right there.

I have actually retuned a few of those cars...

Picked up 1.1 seconds in the 0-100kph dash(flat 4 seconds) running less boost... must be making 300Kw@wheels now

Best one I saw was a TD04 SH9 Forester that made 160+Kw@wheels supplied with a boost graph and yet the boost control solenoid hoses had both hoses on the intake J pipe from brand new... the t piece hose which was supposed to go to the boost solenoid had been plugged into the idle solenoid next to the boost solenoid. Owner always said it ran wastegate pressure on his boost gauge Idle solenoid has manifold pressure so if/when it opened then there was no air being bled off to raise boost

Get with the times matt it's called electronic boost control, where you can electronically conjure up any boost figure for your pretty graph

No boost controller fitted though Closed loop factory boost control is a good system if the min and max values are setup right!

It should be noted that the CAI will not help an 09 WRX at all (it already has a good CAI stock) and the BOV is bling. There is no mention of a TBE which would be the first step to improve the car from stock. It just goes to show that Pulse can perform magic!

So do any of these pulse cars hit up WSID? Surely all would be revealed when then burn through the traps at a much lower speed than they should. Or do people who go there not know enough to either care about such data, or understand the relationship of trap speed to power?
