G'Day I just bought an MY07 GT 5speed and already the car feels pretty soggy and unresponsive compared to my old spec B manual

Can anyone tell me what I can get done for under 3 grand to get a bit more punch out of the auto version of this car?

After reading a few threads it seems I should go with a new exhaust system and a tune to start off with and i'm guessing some sort of new intake?

I live in Sydney city so I'm guessing there's a few decent places to get my car worked on in the area

Any help would be awesome

They can do remote tunes, or you can meet him at your capital city next time he is there for a road tune.

Avoid mrt and ecutek.

MSR (Michael south racing) is highly reccomended among most members.

Saturday 11th of August I have a few spots left where I can tune the car with you in it to suit your driving style US Legacy guys will confirm I am the only guy who has managed to get the 5EAT auto shifting right without a gearbox rebuild

Happy to load a tune and let you assess the car for yourself, if your not happy then I will return the tune to standard

Retuned enough Sydney dyno tunes to know the auto is still a dark mystery for the local workshops

Exhaust and tune would be a good starting point I wouldn't waste $$ on an intake, just a high flow panel filter.

It's win win for the vendor because do you honestly think someone will want to go from a good tune back to stock

I also agree on exhaust, panel filter and tune. And if you want, also a better intercooler.

This sounds perfect because I'll be taking the car down to melbourne for a few months at the end of august and I'd love to have it done before then.

I just ordered a K&N panel filter which should be here in under a week, should I also get my exhaust done before the tune or just wait?
