I have a 06 gt-b with the sti 6 speed.
All thats done is intake and 3" cat back exhaust.
I have a budget of 5k and am looking for 200 at the wheels.
I've asked around at a couple of tuning shops and diffrent people.
But please. Just tell me what I need to do to get 200atw.
Im in Sydney btw.

Out of curiosity, how many KM does the motor have on it?

If your goal is 200 it will depend on the turbo used and the dyno on the day. You can either choose a turbo that has a chance of getting you to 200, or choose one that will get you to 200 and then some.

For something a little closer to maxing out your budget you could consider:
- Turbo: Blouch 380xt - this has been used by jaydece off these forums to get around 220kw...and MajesticCrow recently installed this turbo and commented that turbo spool is the same if not better than stock turbo spool. Troy from Prospeed was quoting around $1,800-1,900 last time I checked. Alternatively, if you have any contacts in the US or speak to some of the shops over there you can land one for less as they are retailing for around $1,300 atm. Con to that is no aftermarket support, but if you go through prospeed racing that might be OK.
- Exhaust: Definitely upgrade your dump if you've only done the catback so far. Did you get your catback exhaust custom made? If so try getting the same exhaust shop to do your dump pipe, might cost you around $500-700...
- Intercooler - You could consider upgrading your top mount. Few options here, AVO, ProcessWest, HyperFlow etc. Expect to pay around $700-$1,100 depending which one you choose and whether it's new or used. All of them will do the job. You could also consider a Front mount.
- Fuel Pump - To keep up with the fuel requirements you should get a fuel pump. I think I got my SARD 265l one for around $310
- ECU Tune - Should cost $800-$1,100 depending on who you use.

That should give you a solid 200 maybe more depending on the tune, you might go just over $5,000 depending on installation costs and which options you go with. You could also consider upgrading your fuel regulator and injectors as well, that way you can go down the E85 route in the future!

I did engine, brakes then suspension with mine, which sounds like what you are planning. I am going to pitch a new idea to you, based on experience. How about a good set of coilovers (or billies rebuilt and valved to match some new springs), some good brake pads and rotors, an exhaust, a panel filter and a tune? Would prolly still net you 170 at the wheels. Would put you into the 13s at around 95ish mph and be heaps of fun to drive.

He already has exhaust and intake done would just need the dump pipe if anything

Beauty! Dump, new bushes, refresh the billies and some new springs (or coilovers) and tune. Mountain runs ahoy!
