ProcessWest needs your Liberty!

Postby Rome_BRZ » Thu Apr 12, 2012 10:56 am

Hey guys,

I'm posting this on behalf of Kevin from ProcessWest. He is making some final adjustments to the ProcessWest TMIC fitment (the same type that was previously installed in my car, see pics below). I was the original donor car for this TMIC so that they could get the splitter fitment correct (see this thread). Basically the minor issues with the original fitment of this TMIC is that it sat too close to the strut brace found on the 2007 STI (an issue which PHAT GT recitified for me), and the intercooler sat high enough in the engine bay that if you installed certain aftermarket BOVs as I did, you can't close the bonnet without cutting out a small section of your hood liner.

Kevin is now making modified brackets to sit the intercooler 7-8mm lower, which should give a bit more clearance and allow more flexibility. However, to modify the brackets accurately, he needs a Gen 4 post facelift liberty to test fitment. If you live close enough to Wollongong (or are willing to travel) and can part with your liberty for 2-3 days, you will receive a brand new, fully fitted ProcessWest TMIC for a heavily discounted price (PM me for details).

Alternatively you can discuss it with Kevin personally:

Second time I've seen this and wished PW would be able to do it in Perth. This time is perfect as my car is fully available for their use... oh well, good luck to Kevin. I'm sure there will be others who will jump at this opportunity.

As soon as the brackets have been modified, just order a new one! We might be able to organise a group buy and see if he'll take care of us :)

Would love to be nearby right now...

As you know Jerome, as things currently stand, I may be interested in a potential group buy.
