What boost controller? Greddy, HKS, Apexi? Who knows anything about the Turbosmart Eboost2?

installing a boost controller without tune is not a great idea imo. Brands mentioned are all reputable though and I would be very interested to see how you go.

I just dont like the look of the eboost. Not a fan of turbosmart all together.

I will hopefully have the HKS EVC in the lib in a fortnight or so. If all other things go well that is.

My experience with EBC's on the EJ20T (same for EJ25T)is there's a fair bit of 'head room' in relation to rich fuel tables on a factory ecu tune. Throwing in a few psi of boost in most cases won't be dramatic to the point of melt down, however the usual fuel cut will be experienced if the boost threshold is breached. As usual some heavy loading would be required to get the tune just right or just throw it on a dyno just to be sure.

A'PEXi AVC-R or the GReddy Profec Spec B would be my choices.

The AVC-R is very powerful if tuned properly, and can do a lot more than the GReddy, but for bang-for-buck (under $400) the PROFec would be best value for money imho.

EVC 5 or APEXI AVC R.
If you do not want to spend that much then get the Greddy Profec B, I have a few in stock if you are interested.

Won't recommend the Profec B if you had an EVO though. Some EVO customers have issues holding boost. but it should be fine for you liberty.

So noone like the eboost, huh? I actually thought it seemed a pretty good unit, spec-wise...

I know the display looks less flash than other units, but that kinda makes it less ricey!
