Hi Guys,

I've recently bought a GT liberty in Perth and the local word is that there's essentially bugger all available at the moment, in the way of performance mods. I've got a custom exhaust done, but that's about it at this stage.

What else is available right now?

Gday Clint, welcome aboard.

Just do a quick search around and you'll see lots of ideas about what others have already done.

It really depends what you really like to do as modifications are concern, ie. cosmetics, performance, sound etc..

Personally i've got a HKS Panel Filter, Airguide, JDM Grille, Cusco front struts, HKS SSQV BOV, and some Fujitsubo exhaust and whiteline front and rear sway bars installed in the next week or so.

So there's a bit out there.. have a look :]

Heya Clint!

Glad to see you made it across from MRT.

Yeah mate as they mentioned its abit hard since Japan didnt release the 2.5lt version. So we are quite limited to the US market. But theres always room for some custom work with the Jap goodies.

For goodies see PHAT GT. He is the man in this joint!

What exhaust set do you have?

Phil.

welcome aboard Clint. I am from Perth and have MY07 GTB Tuned by STI. There are plenty of options as far as mods go but the real issue is being able to tune the mods or rather not being able to here in Perth. We are still waiting for Verso to sort out Si-Drive Maps in order to work the verso magic.

Verso vs. Ecutek? I hear that Ecutek will be available to the local guys in Perth around the end of the month. MRT also tell me that a larger TMIC will be available by then also.

Phil, the exhaust I have is a custom 3" stainless system, Dump pipe - hi flow cat - resonator - 2 x 2.5in straight thru mufflers into double skinned tips. At first I was concerned about the amount of noise, but I'm ok with it. I get some pretty serious 'pops' on closing throttle, too! Made a fair difference to power and boost (and turbo noise). I've had no probs with engine lights, SI drive or anything.. the boys got the positioning of the heat sensor right, I guess.

Sounds good mate! I think we ironed out the problem with mine. Replacing o2 sensor this week and hopefully will have it resolved. Mine originally worked fine with no probs but i think i know wat went wrong. Yes Yes pics please.
