Dump Pipe Install on Stock Centre Pipe

Hey everyone

I'm currently looking at getting a dump pipe as my first mod.
The dump pipes I see are 3 inch and I was wondering if it would bolt directly onto the stock centre pipe as I don't have the funds to hit the full TBE as of yet.

Would I need a converter or anything, or would the flanges just bolt directly on from a 3 inch DP into the stock small centre pipe?

depends which dump pipe you buy mate.

a phat DP for example comes with an adaptor so it can suit stock exhaust, and then when you buy an aftermarket exhaust you change the adaptor to suit your new exhaust.

other dump pipes will need to be modded to match a standard exhaust...unless its designed for a standard exhaust.

so in short, unless you buy a phat dump pipe chances are it wont match your stock exhaust.
