I got my GT about a month or so ago.
Tomorrow i am getting the exhaust changed and the guys will have it all day.
Does anyone know of a way that the car can be locked in intelligent mode while they have it?

Just take the odometer reading and tell them you don't want them to road test at all.. Otherwise go hardcore and disconnect one of the sensors and it will be in 'limp home' mode..

Just let them know you prefer not to have it road tested afterwards, and then take down the odometer reading. Anything added km's means you might be able to negotiate a lower price because they disobeyed your request. Otherwise like sooobi suggested, disconnect the sensor at the airbox.

And leave a copy of the odometer reading in the car somewhere obvious (cupholders?) so anyone who doesn't get the message might think twice...

Maybe i'll write down the odo reading, pity though i would have thought there would be a way that
you could limit it.
At least every road around the place is only 60k limit.

IF you can't trust your exhaust shop not to flog your car can you trust them to do a good job on your exhaust. I know I wouldn't.

True. However I'm not sure how the skills of the shop to do a good job on your exhaust system relate to whether or not they take one's car out for a flogging? As they could be the best exhaust shop in the world but may not have the best ethics when it comes to their behaviour while in possession of the car.

But to OP, just request no road testing after the work, and if there is any paperwork to fill out (ie- your name, contact info, car details, etc), be sure to have them write down the odometer reading on the form (as well as writing it down for yourself) before you leave it with them. This will reduce any 'he said/she said' issues when you come to pick it up and the odometer reading has increased.

Yes, copy and paste the I mode throttle map over to the S and S# tables. Would take 5 minutes.

I have a "service" rom that is even slower than I mode on all settings. It's like driving an MRT car.

BTW when fitting an exhaust you should expect the fitter to give it some some stig to test for leaks and get the system up too temp.
